All hand-made, one-of-a-kind, Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel rings purchased from Andrew Nyce Designs are guaranteed to be top quality and free from any defects in materials or workmanship.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the ring is delivered to you exactly as you ordered it and free of defects. In the event that you are less than completely satisfied with the materials or workmanship of the ring, Andrew will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction or your money will be refunded.
If you believe your ring to be defective, you may return it to us for repair or replacement. Please contact us for return authorization. Upon examination of the returned ring, if it is determined to be defective, we will repair or replace it, at our judgment, without charge to you.
Returned rings that have been subject to abuse or adverse chemical environments are not covered under this guarantee.
Since each ring is custom made, no two rings are exactly alike. In addition, there may be some variation in color, texture or pattern as compared to what is shown on the Andrew Nyce Designs website; these variations are not covered under this guarantee.
If you have known sensitivities or allergies to certain metals or alloys, please be sure to mention this when ordering your ring. Returns for adverse allergic reactions to metal alloys used in the Mokume Gane or Damascus Stainless Steel rings are not covered under this guarantee. |

Returns only will be accepted with prior authorization from Andrew Nyce Designs. A full refund of all unworn jewelry will be made if returned within 10 days of the date you received it. Because all rings are custom made, there will be a 25% return fee, based on the original purchase price. Rings with gemstones cannot be returned. |

Proper ring sizing ensures proper fit and comfort. Ring sizes are tricky to measure. The most accurate ring size measurements are obtained by using a ring finger gauge (or sizer). There are two types of gauges: a narrow and a wide gauge. A narrow gauge will give a different result than a wide gauge.
If you know your ring size, as well as the inside diameter in millimeters, you can simply supply that information to us either on the Quote forms, over the phone, or by email.
If you are uncertain about your ring size, we would be happy to send you a ring gauge. Depending upon whether you purchased a wide or narrow ring, you will be sent either a narrow or a wide ring gauge along with instructions on how to obtain your ring size accurately.
Please note that when ordering a ring, it is your responsibility to provide the correct ring size. A ring ordered with the incorrect ring size is not covered under our guarantee and return policy. However, if we have crafted a ring for you in a size other than the ring size you ordered, we will size or replace it at no charge.
A special note for customers who are provided with ring finger gauges. If Andrew Nyce Designs makes a ring to the size that you provided based upon your measurements using the ring finger gauges, and it does not fit, that ring is not covered under our guarantee and return policy. |

Andrew Nyce Designs only sells diamonds certified by independent gemological laboratories. All diamonds are purchased from Stuller - one of the most trusted names in gemstones. Andrew will be happy to assist you in selecting a diamond that will be the ideal match for the ring style you have selected. To obtain a quote on a diamond, specify the clarity, color and the cut that you want. Diamond certifications will be supplied upon request. There are no refunds on diamonds. |

In general, the price of handcrafted jewelry is determined by the materials of construction and the time it takes to make the piece. The price for Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel rings is a function of precious metal content, ring size, and overall ring width.
Our prices range from $1200 to $6000 for Mokume Gane rings and $700 to $3700 for Damascus Stainless Steel. Rings that contain Platinum are quoted at market price.

Andrew Nyce Designs accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Personal checks also are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Upon placing an order with Andrew Nyce Designs, 50% of the total purchase price is due; 50% is due prior to shipping the order. Checks should be made payable to Andrew Nyce Designs. A $25 fee will be charged for all checks returned for insufficient funds. All transactions are checked for possible fraud.
Maine residents please add 7% sales tax. |

Turnaround time for a handcrafted ring from Andrew Nyce Designs is 3 weeks to 6 weeks from the date the order is placed. If you have a wedding or ceremony within a shorter time frame from the date of your order, we will provide you with temporary rings to wear; there is no charge for this service. An exact shipping date will be specified when you place the order. |

Your ring order will be packaged in high-quality velvet jewelry boxes.
Your order will be shipped via FedEx unless otherwise specified. Shipping and insurance will be invoiced at cost. The amount of the insurance will vary with the declared value of the ring.
For U.S. orders, the cost is between $50 to $75 for shipping, handling and insurance on orders up to $5000. Additional insurance charges apply for orders over $5000.
For international orders, the cost is between $75 to $125 for shipping, handling and insurance. Additional insurance charges apply for orders over $5000. In addition, customers are responsible for all customs, tax and duty charges which may be levied by your country's Customs authority.
For Canadian and Mexican orders, we include a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificate of Origin form upon shipping the order that may reduce or eliminate the customs duty applied to the shipment.
FedEx does not deliver to P.O. boxes so please include street number and zip code. In order to protect both you and Andrew Nyce Designs, we do not ship to third parties. |
